Given that any EVSE plug for the EV interface has a finite cycles durability, is it a good idea to limit the times you plug in to say once a day in the evening before a scheduled charging session? I am aware of the ABC concept but that makes more sense in the cold winter than in mild weather when the battery doesn’t need to precondition as much. Having used level 1 charging for a year before upgrading to level 2, I’m also aware that limiting the plug/unplug cycles may not be applicable to level 1 operation.
