Thoughts on using a 2026 Lincoln Aviator for towing a 4,500 pound trailer
I am considering buying a new 2026 Aviator as a daily driver (maybe 30,000 miles a year) but will be using it to tow my car trailer to shows once or twice a year. The GVW of the trailer is approximately 4,500 pounds (really consistently less than that). Looking for experiences with this use, pros and especially cons. I would be looking at the Premiere trim model, likely without the air ride suspension. Wondering about the reliability of the V6 engine and the 10 speed automatic transmission. In case it matters, I normally keep a new car about 10 years.
