CPA Guide- Upcoming (Sakshi.K)

I’m working on a CPA Audit guide and wanted some input from people who have taken or are studying AUD.

I passed the CPA exam in 2014 and remember Audit being one of the hardest sections, not because the material itself was impossible, but because concepts often felt subjective and disconnected.

I’m not building a question bank. The idea is more of a concise supplementary guide that helps organize and simplify concepts.

What topics confused you the most or took the longest to finally click?

Examples:
• SSAE vs SSARS
• Audit reports
• Sampling
• Transaction cycles
• Independence rules

Curious to hear what gave you trouble.

Thanks,

Sakshi.K

Existing with Shiva: An Atheist's Belief

Existing with Shiva: An Atheist's Belief is not just a collection of poems, but a reflection of how I see him in everyday life.

If these words resonate with you, I would truly appreciate a candid review on Amazon.

Existing with Shiva: An Atheist's Belief (A Collection of Heartfelt Poems)

Hello Members,

By way of introduction, my name is Sakshi.K. I am an auditor and writer.

For most of my life, I considered myself an atheist. Not in the rebellious sense, but in the empirical one. I believed only in what could be reasoned, measured, or explained.

Over time, however, life led me toward something quieter: the acceptance of a higher power. Not out of fear, desire, or blind faith, but from the realization of my own smallness within a much larger existence.

My poetry collection, Existing with Shiva: An Atheist’s Belief, comes from that deeply personal space. It explores the journey of a modern seeker trying to find herself through Shiva, doubt, devotion, and introspection.

The book is available as an eBook. If you happen to read it, I would truly appreciate an honest review. Independent writers survive on readers far more than algorithms.

CPA Audit Guide _Upcoming

Hello Folks,

By way of introduction, my name is Sakshi. I cleared the US CPA exams back in 2014, so I understand both the excitement of clearing them and the frustration when things do not go as planned.

I am currently working on a CPA exam guide focused on Audit. I picked Audit first because, in my opinion, it is one of the most nuanced and confusing sections of the CPA journey. Since much of it is theoretical, concepts and answer choices can easily overlap and create confusion.

My goal is to create a practical and simplified CPA Audit eBook that can genuinely help aspirants navigate the subject more confidently.

To better understand what candidates struggle with most, I would really appreciate your input:

  • Which Audit topics or concepts did you find the most confusing?
  • Were there areas where textbook explanations felt too abstract or repetitive?
  • What kind of explanations or study support would have helped you more during preparation?

Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.

Sakshi
