We know he drugged her drink to make her pass out, but what did he do afterward?

We see him sitting watching the train leave, or did he get on the train right after Marriene and he invented that scenario while he was dissociating?

Even so, it would be difficult for Joe to remove an unconscious woman from a busy station without drawing attention, and the series never explains how he managed to do it. I believe this was a plot hole.
