Hey y’all, I have a sort of weird situation and would be glad for any ideas!

I had a c-section in late March, and about 3 weeks later ended up back in the hospital with appendicitis. The docs treated me with antibiotics because Iwas still too inflamed to safely remove the appendix, but they want to take it out sometime this summer. They want to do it AFTER i come off SDI, sometime when I will have transitioned to PFL. I’d like to use a separate SDI claim to cover the recovery…but can I pause PFL to do so?? It’s basically impossible to get someone from SDI on the phone to ask any questions, so I’m trying to figure this out on my own. Suggestions for how to do so would be welcome! Thanks!!
