[AI pop/electronic] Making a Suno song into a video feels different from just adding a visual

I’ve been making a few Suno tracks lately, mostly pop/electronic stuff, and I noticed the video part is harder than I expected.
If the song is pretty steady, a cover image or simple visualizer is usually fine. It gives the track something to look at without turning it into a whole project.
But when the hook comes in, or the chorus lifts, or the energy changes halfway through, the same loop all the way through can feel a little disconnected. The song is moving, but the visual is not really moving with it.
I’m not trying to make a full music video for every Suno song either. Scenes, lyrics, edits, timing everything by hand — that feels like too much for most tracks.
I guess I’m trying to figure out where the line is.
For people making Suno songs, when do you keep it simple with a cover image or visualizer, and when do you make something that follows the song a little more?
