Hey everyone,

I'm a first-year MBA student at baby iim with a background in audit and assurance at Kpmg and a B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University. Currently doing my summer internship at ICICI Bank as a Management Trainee.

I've been researching Barclays as a potential recruiter and wanted to get some insights from people who've been through the process or know someone who has:

  1. What kind of roles does Barclays typically offer in baby sims — is it mostly their investment banking, risk, or global markets side? Or do they also recruit for corporate banking / strategy roles?

  2. Given my audit background, what profile would they be looking for — and is someone without a core finance background at a disadvantage?

  3. What should ideally be on a resume to get shortlisted — certifications, projects, specific skills?

Any insights from IIM grads, current Barclays employees, or anyone who's gone through their recruitment process would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
