Need help, lost hope in police
Hi everyone M27 here, I’m writing this because I need help identifying a person who assaulted me a few days ago near Khadki Railway Station.
Three days back, I was heading home from the office on my moped and stopped for tea near the station. After finishing, I started my moped to take a U-turn. Before I could even move forward, a speeding moped came out of nowhere and almost hit me. Because I stopped in time, there was no major crash, just our vehicles touching slightly.
Instead of slowing down or checking, the guy immediately got off his vehicle and slapped me. I went into total shock and froze. Before I could even process what was happening, he slapped me a second time.
Thankfully, some local bystanders stepped in to help me and started arguing with him. I immediately tried to call my family and the police. The guy was incredibly arrogant and aggressive, saying, "Me bolta na jisse chaiye tujhe aur marunga" (Call whoever you want, I'll beat you more).
When I tried to stop him, he casually gave a photo of his Aadhaar card, hurled a heavy abuse ("Saglanchi aai zavto"), and rode off. The police took about 10 minutes to arrive, so they missed him.
I have already lodged an official FIR with the police, but I'm worried nothing will happen. I know how to defend myself, but the sheer suddenness of the attack completely froze me. If anyone was around Khadki station three days ago or has any leads based on the vehicle/Aadhaar details (which I can share privately), please reach out.
