Looking at a 2017 Red Sport 400 with 117k miles. Am I walking into a trap?

Hey guys,

I’m looking at picking up a 2017 INFINITI Q50 Red Sport 400. The car looks incredibly clean, but it has 117,536 miles on the clock.

I know the VR30DDTT engine can be an absolute beast, but I also know the 2016–2017 models are notorious for premature turbo seal failures and wastegate issues. At nearly 118k miles, I’m trying to figure out if this car is living on borrowed time or if it can actually be a solid daily if it was taken care of.

What problems will i run to if i buy a"replaced vin" car

I found a replaced vin car on copart that looks very clean with a low actual mileage and exactly what i was looking for, it does have a state issued vin number but from another state, so i'm generally worried on what kind of problems will i face if i buy if, these problems can be anything from legal to reselling or mechanical. Btw I'm planning to keep it for myself
