how to technocratmax in Duke
Have you ever wanted a landslide victory? Embrace the American technocracy, save the ERTF, and take down the conservative revolution? Well, this guide is just for you
Note this is the first time I ever did a guide, but after trial and error, I have made this work
achievements: Robert Reich DOGE Ahab's Revenge, Stone Cold Killer, and Spear-Chuckers Vindicated
visits: mostly in the south to increase EV's
- There are a lot of great minds we’ve surrounded ourselves with over the course of this campaign, both new and old. We have a unique mandate to do something historic, and succeed where other presidents have failed. I expect that you guys will be very helpful in that effort.
- I can practically smell the stench of corruption and decay from the Reagan administration. Let’s empower the Massachusetts brain trust to take over and turn this place into an efficient, data-driven organization. (the first step to making the American technocracy)
- Just lower the topline defense appropriation. Let the Pentagon figure out what to cut and what to keep. See if we can scrounge together four billion dollars. (You don't have sway with Congress, but that's for later)
- Don’t forget 1982 that easily. John is one of the best organizational minds I’ve ever met and I’m more than happy to burn some political capital to hang on to him. We cannot do without him. (he's the surprise tool to be used later)
- I’ve heard a few interesting ideas about this from Ira Jackson and Felix Rohatyn. Let’s create a federally backed, technology-driven monitoring system to track bank solvency in real time; let’s also introduce risk-weighted deposit insurance premiums to disincentivize recklessness. (Like any technocracy, you need digitization and modernization of the economy)
- Gorbachev claims to be about peace, perestroika, glasnost, all that stuff; this is his chance to prove it. This is my final offer to the General Secretary: The Contras are spent. Match us with the Sandinistas, and the election decides the rest. (the first step to peace)
- We’ve got to keep it simple. The Massachusetts plan is so great because it plays into the strengths of our existing systems—private insurance and state-by-state implementation—instead of trying to undo and replace them all. Take that, and scale it up. (it's not universal, but you can get it)
- Right now, the world is solidifying into regional economic blocs. Europe with the EEC, Asia with the Asian Tigers, and so forth. We’re going to make our environmental and labor concerns clear, but a cohesive North American bloc is exactly the kind of thing we need to protect our own influence. (The American technate needs its neighbors)
- I don’t see any reason why we can’t try to meet somewhere in the middle. We have a lot of more ambitious proposals in this plan, things like the employer mandate, that we can use as bargaining chips to get the rest of the thing through. (your technocrats led by Sasso get it through)
- We’re looking at this the wrong way; it’d be lunacy to tighten our belts in the middle of a recession like this. Delay PAYGO and reorient to an expansionary policy, so that we can protect our investments that drive economic growth. Say that the growth, uh, it pays for itself. Say that. (Yes, the deficit rises, but at least your healthcare plan survives)
- I’ve seen a few of the studies published by Bob Reich about how much we could save in overhead costs if we established a body to coordinate infrastructure across the federal departments and with the states. Let’s sign an EO establishing the National Infrastructure Council. (the technocracy's influence grows stronger)
- I’m really inspired by some of our new upstarts, people like Paul Wellstone and Maxine Waters braving a midterm environment to seize victory. I’m excited to work alongside these new members to accomplish the business of government. (with your new majority you can now pass even more bills)
- These gun organizations, they use publicity and scaremongering. We can march into their trap, or we can wise up and do the same. Let’s have some of these Stockton survivors speak out, and emphasize this is about stopping criminals and terrorists. (turns out shaming your rivals to pass gun laws works)
- I’m not the type of person to engage in this game of political brinkmanship. We’ll work with him when we need to, and put our foot down when the situation requires it. But we should keep tabs on the guy, see what he’s up to. He’s a seedy fellow. Put John on that. (divide and conquer)
- For three years, I’ve watched the Fed choke this recovery to death in the name of fighting phantom inflation. We need a push to get this economy moving again, and Felix Rohatyn is the guy to do it. (The American technocrats finally run the economy)
- It’s imperative that our allies know we’re present in whatever strife they might be going through, and it’s also important that the American people see it. We’ll be doing a highly publicized diplomatic tour of the Levant, Lebanon and Israel, standing side by side with local leadership to set goals regarding long-term stabilization of the region. (PEACE NOW)
- That gives me an idea. What about Al Gore? His dad was a friend of yours. He’s got all the best parts of you, known nationally and helpful with the southerners, and he’s a young fellow. Handsome, too, with a good family. And you can have Treasury. (Yes, you could have done Mikulski, but the brand of technocracy is what I am doing)
- It’s time to take the big steps in going after drug abuse. On the supply side, let’s up the Coast Guard’s budget by 100 million dollars and cut aid to drug-supplying countries that don’t cooperate in going after the dealers. Let’s also invest in anti-drug education to teach children the dangers of drugs. (Now, why did I not do the AFDC bill? It's because Dukakis is a coward for abolishing it after years of using the ERTF, so instead we are going to do some drug reform)
- It’s paramount that we work to preserve stability in the region. Recognize the Russian Federation and all the republics, work to get them into the United Nations, and give me a personal line to President Yeltsin. (Why not expand NATO? Well, it leads to even worse people leading Russia later, so picking this at least shows you're not causing problems)
- Okay, look, don’t get too cheeky. Everything’s going to be business as usual at the White House. Seeing me as America’s president, getting things done and taking care of the business of government, is worth far more than campaign ads or whistle-stop tours.
- Lean all the way into it, there’s no way I’m getting any of these pro-lifers back when it was my justices who did this. Besides, it’s a good cause, one that the majority shares. Let’s use strong rhetoric on abortion, gun control, secularism, even women in combat units. (at this point you just have to abandon the whole conservatism in your admin)
- We need to establish that anarchy and lawlessness will not be tolerated. I am mobilizing federal troops to contain the violence and assist local authorities while minimizing the risk for excessive confrontation. (better than shooting protesters at the moment)
- Is Bob Dornan okay? I mean, look at all that shouting and screaming, even verging on attacking House colleagues. He’s not a well man by any means. He needs help. He should see a therapist. (given what he said and did during his time, that makes sense)
- Just a couple of months ago, I had the opportunity to deliver an address marking President Kennedy’s 75th birthday. I knelt by the Eternal Flame and recalled how he inspired me to enter public service. Now, at this critical crossroads for this great nation, it is our job to carry that flame. (despite the technocratic idea you did do a lot of Robert Reich's economic reforms)
- Front and center. He’s young and handsome, a new type of Democrat, just like myself. He’s like if Lloyd Bentsen were 30 years younger and about 25 percent more charismatic. (the south needs to break now)
- It’s not like me being there will have a significant impact on the recovery effort, but it’s important to show these people that I see their suffering and understand what they’re going through, that they’re not suffering in silence. I plan to visit the worst-hit areas. (this is the only answer to a horrible disaster)
- Do what you have to do. (welp, time to ruin some lives)
- If nothing else, we have our receipts. Yes, it says in the congressional record that Bob Dornan called Vladimir Posner a, quote, “disloyal, betraying little Jew.” Do you mind explaining to the five and a half million Jewish Americans, my wife among them, what you meant by that? (The fact that he said and thought he could be president really tells you how bad he is in)
- This is great news. Let’s see if we can land an interview, so that Americans can hear it straight from the horse’s mouth. (The American people need to know the economy is alive)
- If we play our cards right, we could definitely pull out a few states in the south. We carried Louisiana last time, I think we could get it along with Arkansas and Tennessee this time. How many voters in Tennessee really want to cut Social Security and disband the TVA? (the south must see the light)
