What exactly is "mixed breed" supposed to mean, and why are people using terms like this?

I recently commented on a post about an mma fighter, calling out a hyped up, generalization comment as "corny." The user instantly replied by calling me a "mixed breed."

Even after I told him both of my parents are from Pithoragarh, he doubled down on it, claiming that "mixed breeding" is destroying our generation and that anyone who doesn't agree with his regional superiority complex is "taking sides with desis."

I genuinely want to understand what goes through someone's mind to use terms like "mixed breed" on other humans. Why are some people in our community adopting this weird, hateful obsession with genetic purity.

Imo, people like this are just cheapening the actual fighters' achievements. Instead of respecting the individual blood, sweat, and hard work it takes to succeed, they just boast about it online and act like being from the mountains automatically makes you more powerful than people from other regions.

Keeping that aside, my question still remains. I also saw people refer people from plains as 'desi' or 'dehati', without knowing their actual meaning. Is it due to the superiority complex of our people? Now I am not saying anything like I support actions of the people of the plains who cause commotion in the hills, but do people really know the meaning of these terms or are they just using them as they saw someone else use them?

Expected rent for 2BHK and 3BHK in Garhi Cantt?

Hi guys, looking for a 2/3 BHK in Garhi Cantt and could use some help:

•What is the typical price range I should expect?

•Which specific pockets or colonies within or near the Cantt are best?

If you know of an available place, please give me the details and pictures! Thank you!

Hi everyone!

I am 17M and an atheist. Being from Uttarakhand, I know we live in "Devbhumi" where religion is a huge part of life for many people, so I have been wondering about everyone else's perspective here.

Where do you guys stand—are you a believer, an atheist, or agnostic? And what made you feel that way?

Just looking for a chill discussion to see the different mindsets in our community. Thanks

Edit: Sorry about the wrong spelling of "Atheist" in the polls.
