Baby is 8 weeks old due for vaccinations Monday. Recently me and my wife got sick and so did the little one. No fevers for any of us just cough and congestion. But his cough sounds rough called the Ped and asked if he has a temp of course and how many wet diapers. Also asked if we lay him down is he breathing really hard retracting enough to see ribs we said no. Other than a nasty cough he seems fine. Told us to use humidifier and saline drops. Not much else we can do for the little guy I feel so bad for him. Anyone else got any helpful tips? Or dealt with something similar

So essentially he's been home for 8 weeks now and for the most part he sleeps throughout the day and his wake window is between 1-2 hours. Hes not overly fussy and sleeps about 3-5 hour stretches at night. Overall it hasnt been to bad but some reason I feel its the quiet before the storm. Anyone had a newborn that was just chill through the 4th trimester? I may just being worrying about something that may never come but since he's age adjusted I feel its gonna take longer before I fully know if SHTF lol.
