I recently PCS’d to Hawaii. I reached out to MPD to have my dependents deferred to arrive until May 1st. I arrived January 10th. I got my house on February 18. From Jan 10 until May I have been receiving BAH for my previous duty station which is a lot less than Hawai’i. Finance told me BAH is based off of my dependents location. Well my dependents weren’t at my last Duty station they were in California. I went back and now they’re telling me I was supposed to be receiving BAH when I secured privatized housing. Can someone help!
