What is this facility in the Northside Industrial District?
Probably just set dressing or abandoned content, etc etc but humor me, it's been bugging me for days. My current hypothesis is some kind of wastewater treatment, although the funky machinery above the pools (1) baffles me. Also curious if anyone has ideas about what the big empty warehouse-ish buildings (2) to the southeast are? There's basically nothing in them apart from pipes and industrial fans, and "68543259SSR" stamped on the exterior and roof. Note that pipes running along the machinery in image #1 are identical to the pipes connected to the buildings in image #2. Finally, I'm wondering if the nearby pipes (3) coming from the south are relevant. Interestingly enough, not only are they the same as the pipes in images #1 and #2, but there's additional rubber tubing, which would typically be used for air/gas rather than water/liquid. Any insight would be awesome.
