I used cheaper materials on a job and pocketed the difference

im 42 and work construction. a few months back on a kitchen remodel the homeowner wanted specific expensive tile. i bought cheaper stuff that looked similar and kept the extra cash from the difference. the job came out fine and they were happy.

now every time i drive by that house or my wife talks about us saving for the kids college i feel this sick twist in my gut. the crew respects me as the honest one and this makes me feel like a complete fake. its been weighing on me heavy especially after long days.

Is his living with parents situation a problem this early or am I judging too much?

i (24f) have been seeing this guy (26m) for almost two months. We get along great and the dates are fun but he still lives with his parents. Its understandable with rent prices but it means we mostly hang at my place or go out because he doesnt have much privacy there.

He seems a bit embarrassed about it sometimes and i try not to make it a big deal but its starting to limit our options and make things feel less natural. I like him a lot though. Should i talk about how it affects us or just give it more time? idk, dont want to come off as shallow.
