Got battery replacement today, it did not go well
i think i messed up. i got battery replacement since my old one is already 4 years old, and the battery already significantly degraded. go this morning, the replacement done in front of me so i see what the technician did. hands on my phone, immediately feels different. it heat up my head. ok maybe its just in my head since the SC have OLED TV and multiple amoled phone on display. i go home, freshen up. and its still bad, my body heat up and my head feels tight, the same symptoms i got on laptop IPS screen.

this is my main phone, it's "safe" from the time i bough it until before replacement and its ruined just because battery replacement, which is weird since its the same screen, same setting (technician didnt change anything, no update no reset). the phone in question is Realme 9 pro bought not from store, but from distributor. There is so many variables in here, it could be the battery that "defect" from day one, or maybe how the flex cable seated (the display cable was glued by thin layer, the SC replace that) and maybe now its properly seated and not wrong like before.
im still less than 24 hours with this, i plan to give it a week, if it still uncomfortable, i will replace it with old battery again in basic repair shop, if that didnt work.... guess im f*ked and need to find alternatives
the new battery is great in term of longevity though. so its not a defect battery.
tl:dr, getting battery replacement could potentially change the "safe" level of your phone
