As a slight weather nerd I really wanted a way to have the weather on my matrix so I’ve been working on adding it to my led matrix tray program!
It uses open-meteo for local weather without needing an api key so it’s completely plug and play! It includes the temperature at the bottom and an animated condition icon at the top! It has sunny, cloudy, rain, snow, storm, and fog. They all animate across the screen! All you have to do to set it up in put your latitude and longitude in the very top of the led tray profiles file!
I also implemented a fix that sdj-framework on GitHub found. It now automatically detects if you have 1 or 2 matrix installed. I hadn’t thought about this since I only have 1 but it should work now! I haven’t been able to test it since I only have 1 so if anyone could let me know that would be awesome! It uses the one tray icon and then will say left or right so you can control them individually.
