A big part of mainstream media and even many people here act like everything men is to impress girls(or other men if gay/bi) or greatly exaggerate this attribute. It's true some times, not most of times. Some motivations for interests can be for that, some people do make almost this their personality few times like I can fucking see here but so do women for different reasons like attention and if lesbians then they can be just like that too.
