Does BMT still do the swim floaty thing?

Ancient guy here who did his BMT here. Not sure if this is more of a question or a story tag.

Anyone remember the time that BMT used to have aqua training with these plastic floaties tied around the waist?

So basically, it was like we line up in rows of 10 or something.

Then we had to had to tread water as fast as possible to the other side, but it wasn't swimming, it was more like aqua-running.

It wasn't a sergeant-led activity also, it was more like a physical trainer (PT) activity.

The goal was to get asap to the other side.

I remember we were once too slow, and then the PT felt we were lazy, asked us to knock it down. And also the slowest guy to the other side also had to do pushups. As such it always felt a bit like a competition, nobody wanted to be the last guy.

Do they still do this in BMT?
