*This is not my MOC*

Looking for inspiration to create a self MOC that is smaller than a titan but a bit larger than the average Toa, I found this. A revamp of Iruini by morningstarmocs on flickr, posted back in 2016. I absolutely love this design, and I'm comfortable saying this is my favorite iteration of any Toa Hagah ever. I am trying to make something similar to this, or adjacent to it, using a dark blue, flat gold, and black color palette (with a touch of some other colors for pins). Working on it in stud.io, but struggling to identify what is happening in the thigh and torso.

morningstarmocs... if you're out there, this is the GOAT. Anyone who has advice or similar designs, I would appreciate it!

I used to have an Instagram account where I would share my poetry overlaid with photos I had taken. I enjoyed using the medium of Instagram — a platform that I felt encourages quick gratification — to try and create meaningful and thoughtful art. I eventually left Instagram because I did not want to support Meta, and with that went my preferred artistic medium. So, here are some old poems I composed!

Hey gang, I've been working on my own Hagah style Toa in stud.io and wanted to share and poke for some advice. My goal was to make a dark blue Toa with gold armor without utilizing overpriced bricklink parts, or the Knights Kingdom II golden armor pieces pictured in this Iruini revamp. I think I like where this is going, but I'm not sure where to go with the legs.

Any advice or tips would be great! I'm wondering if the mix of metallic gold and flat dark gold will look okay, this render makes it all look the same.

The mask is Gaaki's, the model is by galva_nize.

Thought I'd Photoshop this guy into my favorite beach scene.
