Knee-high converse
I bought this $100 mess of a shoe less than a year ago. I do not wear them often because whatever zipper they decided to use for it was impossible to zip up half the time! I was at a show and the zipper broke apart from the bottom. I've since been able to get it back together but it's even more impossible to zip up, even when it's not on. I'd like to replace the zipper somehow, but not sure what method to use. I thought about gromits and more laces on the back, but a friend pointed out that might be tedious to put on. I have snap backs and the ability to just tear the zipper out and sew on a new one, but I'm not sure what to choose. I'd like something that looks cooler than what I started with ideally! Or i might get an elastic fabric and sew it in to make it easier to put on, I'm not sure. Any tips?
