For PTs who do FCE or medicolegal file reviews in general, I'm looking for some guidance or experience.

I'm an Ontario trained PT with 2 years experience in ortho and 3-4 years experience at a tertiary care rehab hospital (stroke, brain injury, complex care rehab, etc.). I'm looking to supplement my income and challenge my skills by doing some work as a medicolegal file reviewer and eventually begin doing FCE testing. I've tried to do my research on how to get started (take a file review course through emedicolegal or CSME, then an FCE cert course), but I'd appreciate any input from people already in the business. How did you get started with it? What should a beginner know? I'd love to get into the nitty gritty about fees and things as well if you're willing. My thoughts are if things go well with this I would be a good candidate for assessing catastrophic level cases based on my line of work, but that would be in the future.
