Criticalcare fridge temp?

I know you can store leftover Unused mixed material but what should the temperature be? I should let it cool down to room temperature huh?

So in this case, I need to make more mixture anyway right?

I tried looking it online, didn’t see any information. Might be common sense to you all but just wanna make sure.

Heatstroke?

5-hour update: They gave her critical care and said to monitor her. I opted out of other suggestions like X-rays and have her stay overnight. Good news
Is I can bring her back within 24 hours and I eont be charged a visit -fee again.

Visit was $164 or so —— as long as the Vet was thorough in her examination, I feel much more relieved. Wish I could show a picture but editing a post doesn’t have an option to upload another image 🤷🏻‍♀️

I understand one of you said your chinchilla lies on its side? Mine just lied down and went limp so I knew it wasn’t normal.

I also notice a few of you were upset I didnt go to the vet right away. I understand but the situstion was about immediate cooling down while I find a vet who is open at 1 AM in the morning. Especially an exotic veterinarian. ——- there are only a handful of clinics in the island of Oahu ——resources feel so limited. Fortunately, I can drive. I imagine taking a bus there there wouldve made me wait anyway since no buses on Hawai’i are available after 10 PM. Although an Uber would’ve been better.

Update: Aftet half an hour she stood up on her own and opened her eyes. Now she in the cage lying down on the floor even though cooling slabs are on the higher level floors… is it normal for chinchillas to lay on the cage floor?

————————————————————

She is breathing and twitching. Eyes closed a little while ago but her fur feels cooler now but she is obviously not getting up 😭😩

Please help me cool her down…. She is probably so hot from all the jumping and playing around with my nephew. She was running around the couch and in his shoulders and twirling in her dust bath.

Right now she is lying on two granite stone plates (the one they sell as cooling stones in PerSmart) and between two ziplocks of ice wrapped in towel so the condensation will not make her fur wet.

I have always used paper bedding (brand is either carefree or fullcheeks) but I got this from a good friend———- it doesn’t say chinchillas but it is for the other small animals.

Has anyone used this?
