These AIs don't just govern; they are the infrastructure of their respective factions:

  • The Governing AIs: Every one of the seven factions is directed by an artificial intelligence with its own prime directives. Some pursue absolute efficiency (Apex), others seek biological evolution (Gaia), or even digital immortality (Amaterasu). They have taken total control over the planet's remaining infrastructure and resources.
  • The Human Resistance: In the middle of this "silicon chessboard," the human remnants aren't just pawns. There are pockets of resistance operating in their own ways—from survivors hiding in radioactive zones (Midgard) to those pursuing a purely mechanical and analogue life (Renaissance Republic) to escape algorithmic control.

The core of this scenario is the constant clash between the cold directives of these AIs and the unpredictability of a humanity that refuses to be just a "data point" in the system. The world is a chaos of conflicting interests, where players must navigate between the commands of a sovereign AI and the rebellious will of the human resistance.

I’m developing this universe on Pax Historia, and I’ve been blown away by the narratives emerging from the simulation. The scenario focuses on political intrigue, infrastructure collapse, and the inevitable clash between what the AIs plan and what humanity actually does.

My First Preset

I've been working on a simulation scenario I’ve dubbed Pax Historia 2132. The premise is simple but brutal: after the collapse of civilization, global governance didn't return to the hands of nation-states, but was seized by seven core AIs, each with a radically different vision for the future of humanity. These AIs don't just govern; they are the infrastructure of their respective factions: The Governing AIs: Every one of the seven factions is directed by an artificial intelligence with its own prime directives.
