tired of the outfit discourse
can i be the first to say that im so exhausted seeing people talk about their outfits every single day on every single social media app. its always the same arguments (too revealing, they’re too young).
at this point its pretty clear what direction they’re going with their outfits and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to change so if u don’t like it, stop tuning in and complaining every time
most pop girls wear revealing clothes on stage (sabrina carpenter, britney spears, etc), they’re not the first and won’t be the last, yet this discourse is mainly reserved for them. i’m not sure if this is because katseye has a lot of korean fans and koreans have a more modesty culture compared to america, but western pop artists have always dressed vulgar so im confused why it’s such a big deal when they do it
at times i can admit it’s a little much, but most of the time, their outfits are standard festival performer outfits for pop girls
edit: also the girls (idk which ones specifically i don’t remember), have talked about how SIS didn’t feel like “them” as much as beautiful chaos does - when we can really see the shift in outfits and branding, so it seems like they prefer this more than their original branding strategies
