'06 HONDA CRV -- changed valve cover gasket, now throwing a p2647 code

As the title says, just finished changing out the valve cover gasket on my CRV. Turn the car on and immediately get a p2647 code: A Rocker Arm Actuator System Stuck On Bank 1.

Any ideas what could have caused it? I see online it's a common code, so wondering if there's something related to changing the gasket that could have thrown the code?
