Can i clear mt cat's tartar at home?
Female, indoor cat, she is 8 years old, eats dry food but i have been adding water in the last few year every time she eats for more hydrating. Had a vet appointment today, and the vet didnt say anything about dental work today, just that she has some tar tar.
If i am diligent in brushing her teeth every day, from now, can I lessen the tartar or remove it completely?🥹
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Also edit: does it look like she has dental disease? Or is it super concerning? I am just worried about general anesthesia and having her under.
Edit 2: does it look like she needs extractions?
