Credit Genie Bank Account Linking Error “already connected to another user”

I attempted to create a second account with Credit Genie using a different email and phone number. I wasn’t as careful as I should have been and used my actual mobile number linked to Plaid to connect the bank. It immediately detected this, so I deactivated the second account to take a new advance under my original account.

Instead, I got an error saying my bank is linked to a different account and I had to wait 7 days. I submitted a couple of tickets to support, and it’s over a week now with still no response.

I waited out the 7 days and still every attempt to reconnect fails with the same error. Now it’s telling me I gotta wait ANOTHER 7 days to try and link it again. At this point, the app is completely unusable and it makes no sense to keep paying a subscription fee. Has anyone else had this issue and been able to get it resolved?
