Corporate toxicity
Some background: I'm 23 yrs old, 2 years of work ex in the same co. I used to work in Blackstone CoE team in India and I resigned day before yesterday but the manager and the TL took it to their ego and got me released within a day without letting me serve my notice period. Although they are paying me for 3 months but still they wanted to satisfy their ego. During the HR call they made all the false claims and repeatdly told that I had continuos escalation from the client and when I asked about the specifics, that piece of shit manager proudly read my appraisal feedback with no escalations in it. These people suddenly had issues with my perfromance, that too after promoting me in december 2025 and I was basically on cumulative leaves of 45-50 days till june 2nd (earned leaves and CFAL2 exam leaves). So, they had all these problem with me in just 2 months. If my performace was so bad then, why I was promoted? I asked about the behaviourial issues, they started saying, you are not proactive on calls (I was the only one who had common intrests with the client and we used have a lot of discussuion on the same), your replies are rude (if it is then they should probably consult copilot for the same). I do not meet deadlines (even if there are no such deadlines in place). Intially client favoured me more than the TL and she got so pissed that she started all these drama and eventually succedded in getting me out asap. PS: this person used to bitch about all the people with me, who are now here besties.
I had a call with the client, they did not mention anything of such kind at all, they were happy with my work till the last thing I did.
This incompetent manager and TL who are rotting there from 6-7 years wants to control every damn things, the toxicity reached to such levels that my colleagues were told not to assist me or tell me anything about the new process and also do the work in half of the time that other were alloted, they wanted me make mistakes so that they can escalate it and put me in performance improvement program. I'm happy that I resigned before they planned to put me in pip and terminate me in coming few months.
