Car drives good but whenever i’m doing hard pulls there’s a strong oil smell that’s tweaking me out
also when i start the car up there’s a slight rattle sound that last 1-2 seconds
previous owner said he recently did valve cover gasket, battery and water pump

Yes i don’t expect this car to be perfect i know what i got myself into i just want to see if you guys could show me what way to go? should i do some logs? if so what should i use to log it?

do you guys know what my problem may be?

is this completely normal and i’m just a bot? 😂😂

hey guys looking for some help or recommendations on my 1994 Z28 6sm

my rpm surges at idle dramatically
I recently replaced IAC,TPS. all gaskets and it doesn’t seem to be a vaccuum leak since i just replaced my intake manifold gasket.
sprayed brake cleaner all over my engine (safely) and there’s no leaks anywhere.
could it be my MAF? recently changed the honeycomb so i know it’s not that. thanks
