Is it just me or does anyone else also think that Leonard is a really attractive character. He is funny, witty, patient and all in all a very caring guy. He also is a perfect boyfriend material as seen in how he takes care of sheldon even after being treated so badly. He also has had a horrible childhood, but even after that he becomes a very mature person. And all the little and romantic gestures he does!!!

I probably think if he has a little more confidence he could do better than penny, with a personality like his and also considering the way penny treats him
