Just letting you all know following on from the cab post last week, I reached out to Y Drive who advised that Cobourg has a by law resulting in them not only paying their license fee, but they need to give a portion of each ride to the municipality too.

They advised that they have no idea if they will resume as its costing more to operate than they are earming in the area.

I have sent an email to the mayors office and encourage others to do the same so hopefully they can change the law and they can operate again.
