Hi all, posting here since this is one of the few places I’ve seen this topic discussed consistently. Hope this is okay. How do you handle it when certain topics relating to women’s capacity for harm (‘safe women’s only spaces’ and bathrooms) are circulating in the news/public discourse? I’m not seeking to discuss politics, but it makes me feel insane seeing all this commentary based on the idea of the ‘safe, innately harmless’ gender and the ‘innately predatory’ gender. I’m lucky to be in a place in my life now where I’m less alone on this experience, but when this stuff is in the news cycle it just flares everything up… what do others do?
