Having more children

Looking for someone with a similar experience. I have a son 9 with ASD2. He requires moderate support and will require a lifelong caregiver. I also have a 6 year old neurotypical daughter. I always wanted 3 kids but due to my son’s diagnosis we stopped at 2, since we know recurrence rate is high. I’m 37 and my husband is 43. My daughter constantly asks for another sibling. He doesn’t play with her, it’s honestly like having 2 only children. And I of course would love for them both to have another sibling. But my husband doesn’t want to take the chance of getting another ASD diagnosis. Did anyone else go through this?

New to investing

New to investing here. 36 F, I have my Roth with maxed contributions, 401k through work, and now I have 40,000 to invest. Was going to put all in VTI, watch, and contribute 300/month for at least 25 years. Do I need to diversify this or is 100% in VTI going to pay out in the long run? Thanks for the advice!

I have a 9 year old son with ASD 2. He was diagnosed at 3 and followed with years of intensive ABA and is now in school in the special ed classroom and receives private OT and ST after school. He still has significant needs and is delayed. We were always discouraged from going the functional medicine route, and couldn’t find any true science to support the specific interventions. Plus the providers in my area are so expensive. I want to explore that route now and see what they say. Did anyone else see improvement when starting at an older age?
