Endbringers Run Ruined. Thanks Stellaris

So I am so insanely annoyed at Stellaris. Because the AI opened the portal to Azilash before me, I lost the ability to win the game at all with the End of the Cycle.

For a little bit more context of what actually happened:
I am found that the system spawned a fair bit ago and noticed that I couldn't do anything about it, even though the game gave me the communications saying to align with the rifts (which is stupid by the way that I can get that comm if I can't even open the portal but whatever). I looked into it online and found that a Quantum Catapult was the savior to my plight. I got one. Launched a 150k fleet in (a titan and a bunch of cruisers with zro launchers) and slaughtered the first fleet. Throughout the Seal event, I found that nothing was spawning. All was well. I catapulted a science and construction ship into the system to set up some infrastructure and suddenly a 400k fleet appears. It whips my fleet completely and all infrastructure barring the science ship (cloaking ftw)
And before anyone mentions Gateways, I don't have the tech and, for whatever reason, am not getting it. I set the Gateways to .25 but I think something glitched because none spawned.

Finally, the reason why I literally can't win this game anymore. This one singular system is all I need. Aura of the End doesn't spread through wormholes. I have to either complete the Seal situation and get the gaia world or make a habitat and put some of my peeps on there. I have the Birb admiral that gives aura intensity per every ship destroyed, however I noticed that this mechanic doesn't work at all if the aura isn't already pre-established. And now I sit here, looking at my screen and seeing the accumulated 3.5mil fleets just vibing in that system, blocking me from my sweet, hard earned victory.

I hate my life.
