Received biometrics appointment on June 4th
My wife is out of the country currently. She cannot make it back as her parent is really sick in the hospital, and she would like to spend time with them, how much time can she postpone the appointment, she is thinking at least 3 months, 6 months more ideal if possible.
We tried to call USCIS contact center to reschedule, the officer told us have to wait unitl 12 hours prior to the appointment date and time to reschedule, we think it is too risky. And we have tired to reschdule online via USCIS website, yet there are only eariler dates to select even if i switch to another different application support center (ASC). And I tried to walk-in to the scheduled (ASC), and the supervisor told me they only handle scheduled appointment, the only way to reschedule appointment is via the USCIS contact center 1 (800) 375-5283, or via the USCIS website.
Please advise if anyone has any successful experience to postpone their biometric appointment because of family emegency. Please share what method is it to reschedule
