No Retwist 4 months <1y/o locs
I haven’t had a retwist in 4 months due to life stress and mental health struggles. 😬 Next month is my one year loc anniversary and I really want my hair to look beautiful and healthy again. I have around 146 locs, how much do you guys think it would cost to have my hair restored ? I have some thinning locs in the back and perimeter and am not against combining some of my locs if necessary. I have been washing my hair regularly and separating my locs to avoid combining but I need a professional to help me get my hair back on track. What are some crochet red flags ? I want my hair to be strong and healthy again but I have some anxiety with finding someone new to crochet my locs based on all these horror stories I’ve seen online. (Edit: I am aware that the shell needs to go + that I’ll likely need to trim a lot of my ends) Am I cooked?
