Trying to make a raglan shirt, but the neckline keeps standing up. I pinned the neckline to the front, back and shoulders and stretched it while I was sewing, but this is the third time its come out like this and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong at this point.
Hi :3 I recently started hrt through Imago and will eventually need some blood tests. I’ve seen a lot of other people on this sub say that your gp is not very likely to provide these for you if you go through Imago instead of CKI, as it might get them in trouble/they don’t know if it’s a legitimate business/etc.
However, I also have epilepsy, which means I should probably have my medication tested every time as well, which I don’t even know if I can actually get done privately. There’s no reaction between my medication and testosterone, but I think it would be a good idea regardless in case I gain a lot of weight or something like that, I’ve been the same weight for like 5 years. And it’s my best excuse lol.
So if I tell him about my concerns, will he be more likely to get me a blood test? Not really much of a reason to not test for all the other stuff as well when they already have my blood, but I’m just really nervous that I’m gonna be turned away.
Hi! Just for some context on the project: My mom gave me an old maxi dress made of some really nice, expensive stretch fabric, which I've cut in two pieces to make a tank top out of the top half and t-shirt out of bottom.
I only have a Singer 99k, which is a straight-stitch only machine and (from what I could find at least) can't use twin needles either. I've heard that you can use an elastic thread instead if you REALLY can't sew stretch any other way, but I'm just a little worried that it won't be good enough for a round neckline.
The Singer 99K I got from my grandma came with a box of presser feet, but I don't know what any of them do, as I've never used any other presser feet than the one that's just on the machine by default. Also not sure if any of them are broken, so if anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you in advance!
