Want to sell trailer on campground site, campground owners say I cannot list or have viewing until trailer is moved off site.
So I own an old trailer i bought for 5K 5 years ago, and honestly am willing to sell it for far less even if I have to include the price of moving it off the lot, but the campground owners seems to not want me to even be able to sell it with conditions that it must be moved, leaving me feeling like I have no options and unsure how to proceed.
The lot is paid for this coming season, and I understand i can't transfer the lease so I know the new owner has to move it, and was planning on putting that in the ad, but campground says i can't even make an ad for it?
Here's their words:
"Due to the age and condition of the trailer, it does not meet our current standards for the RV units to remain on the property. As such, it would not be approved to stay on the site under a new owner. If you decide to sell the trailer, it must be removed from the campground before any sale activity takes place, including listing or showing the unit."
