Deluxe Resort Advice with 1 yo, 3 yo, and MIL Week after Thanksgiving 2026

Visiting WDW for the first time and probably won’t be back for a few years later…

Which deluxe resort would you recommend for our family of 5 visiting 7 nights and 6 park hopper days? My 3 year old is obsessed with the princesses and classic Disney, so I assume we will go to magic kingdom a full 2 park days and maybe hop other evenings if we’re feeling up to it.

My MIL is a saint and will watch the 1 yo for naps/evenings, so convenience of traveling back to the room is important. We’re big walkers so a 1 mile walk to a park doesn’t bother me.

I’m fully expecting to spend $15k+ and don’t anticipate us coming back for a long time, so will shell out whatever. Just wanting to have the most magical and seamless experience! Also don’t care about the pools because my 3 year old hates swimming (unfortunately). We’re only 6 months out so several properties are sold out of room categories. A few suggestions would be awesome in case your first is sold out.

I’ve also heard of switching resorts mid-trip - actually worth it or just a headache? Thanks for your feedback!

As title says - I’m sort of disappointed. I feel less food noise and feel like I’ve eaten better/less but only dropped 1 lb in 4 weeks. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and it starts coming off at higher doses? Starting 0.5mg this week.
