Time Has Come To Replace Our '16 Infiniti QX60

The time has come to most likely replace our fully loaded to the nines (every package but tow), 2016 Infiniti QX60 with 150kmi. Needs a new motor due to a bad problem on Cylinder 6 (human error, sadly) but otherwise is a very well maintained and good condition vehicle. I'm considering getting a used motor put into it to make it a bit easier to sell, but otherwise likely to part with it with or without the repair.

Honestly, I'd keep the car - after fixing it - for another 2-3 years but wife wants to move on. I would prefer to get a 2022-2024 QX60 (before they switched to the VC-Turbo motor on the new gen) to replace it but wife is not aligned lol. She's pushing for a Lexus or Audi.

So, I've been reading and researching prices (including other competitors) and it seems like our options are:

  • Acura MDX Advanced, 2025+
  • Audi S/Q5 Prestige 2021+
  • Audi S/Q7 Prestige 2020+
  • BMW X7 2022+
  • Genesis GV80 3.5T 2025+
  • Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy 2026+
  • Infiniti QX60 Sensory 2022-2024
  • Lexus RX 2022+
  • Lexus TX 2024+
  • Mazda CX-70/90 2024+

Trying to spend less than 40k but can go up to 50k. A good 20k will be put down as payment. Will be buying in the next 2-3 months.

I do all of my own DIY (fluids, brakes, etc.) so ideally it is something that isn't a pain to service. Just watching an Audi Q7 oil change video makes me want to stick with Infiniti. Have to remove the airbox to get to the oil filter? Okay, Audi.

My main concern is reliability. I've owned nothing but Nissan's my whole life ('97 Maxima GXE, '99 Maxima SE, '07 M35x, currently have a '11 M56x) so I'm of the opinion that VQ/VK's are super reliable and easy to work on (if you don't grenade them by accident lol) and while I think Audi's look great, I can't get over their stigma of being unreliable and only worth having with a warranty.

Sorry for the novel, thoughts or recommendations?
