Quitting new job for ch 7?

We were in the process of gathering things to file ch 7, and we ended up getting a job before we processed. We still pass the means test for the last 6 months because our income was so low. But for the “budget” we don’t qualify and our lawyer said we would end up doing ch 13 and having to pay it all back in full, with 2800$ a month for 5 years. (Nearly 150k in cc/personal loans)

We do not want to do ch 13. We do have other reasons to quit, child care being primary because we can’t afford it with the new job and both of us working. Quitting before being at the new job for even a month, look bad? For reference in Texas.

Better to be debt free, or have income?

If given the option, what do you think is better…

Option to get rid of 142k of debt and having zero monthly income. All food/utilities basically living would be accounted for. Month would be net like $10.

Or

Making minimum payments on debt to pay off 142k in 5ish years, but having about 2k left each month.

Chapter 13 pros?

We were told we wouldn’t qualify for chapter 7 so our lawyer said we could try for 13, but would likely have to pay our debt in full.

We have about 142k debt. My husband just got a job 2 weeks ago. After 8 months of no employment or income. Combined income is now 179k.

we pass the means test, but budget wise we now make too much money. Any help/advice/experience?

Reset - forgot code

How do I reset this after forgetting the code. It is for work so it has nothing on it and I don’t have it set up with Apple ID yet. I just need to get into it!
