I’m new and I’ve had a lot of new gym member comp sessions with either like late high school age or college age kids, we connect pretty well but like most box gyms these sessions being a funnel for selling training is really hard here. The high school kids obviously aren’t buying, they come alone so can’t pitch to parents, and the college kids don’t want to pay for anything even though to walk in the door they had no problem paying for a membership already. Is there an approach you have found that’s more effective for these groups of students? They can often genuinely benefit the most from training, but they have really fickle financial barriers, it’s hard to find an in.
