Edit: MICROPHONE. Omg lol

I have tried two different microphones. I am sure it is a beneficial function for blocking out background noise when recording.

But I am specifically looking to record a blowing sound with my mouth for a sound effect in a game I am working on.

The mics just don't pick it up. Even if I go louder, it doesn't recognize the air sound. If I speak, or make other sounds, it records just fine.

Is there a setting in Audacity that would help with this?

I'm genuinely asking because I don't understand.
