What do you wish you had asked or said at your first endo specialist appointment?
I'm having my first appointment with an endo specialist in a couple of days and my mind is absolutely racing with thoughts and questions to the point that I can hardly form a single coherent thought.
I'm worried I'll forget to tell them something important or fail to think of questions until I'm on my way home.
I started keeping a symptom journal when I was given the transfer to the specialist, about two weeks ago. I also have a rough chronological breakdown of the last 7 years in terms of what's been done, results of that, etc. in a note on my phone and of course all of the paperwork that lead me here.
What did you wish you had asked, known or said?
My biggest worry is that I'll manage to leave the appointment feeling dismissed and like I have no idea what the next steps would be.
