[Question] Suggestions on how I can balance exercising, being productive, and working second shift?

I am (F)23 and have been working second shift (3pm-11pm) for nearly 2 years. I have such a hard time doing what I want to on days that I have to go into work. I want to exercise (lift, run, walk the dogs), get the chores done and still have time to get ready without rushing.

My routine for days that I work is to start getting ready at 12, leave by 1:45 pm, get home around 11:30 pm.

By the time I get home I am SO hungry so I’ll eat, which makes it harder to fall asleep. I do smoke some weed when I get home to decompress (I work in a very stressful environment) which then adds to my hunger as well. I feel like I’ve gained a little bit of weight during my time working on second shift because I eat so late and go right to bed.

I find that it’s super difficult to wake up in the morning / drag my ass outta bed. I’ve tried getting a new alarm clock that requires me to get up to turn it off, but it hasn’t helped very much. I have realized that no matter how much I sleep, whether 4 hours or 10 hours, I am still always tired. Is this normal or..? If it’s not what can I do?

It happens easily where I compare myself to my coworkers who are able to manage the gym, productivity, and work. Some are even able to manage all of those + a family. Comparison is the biggest thief of my joy thus far.

Ultimately, I just really want to be able to get up at a good time, have the motivation to exercise and move my body, be productive, and maintain the routine I have built so far. Looking for some advice or suggestions from anyone willing to offer it :) Thank you in advance.
