Do visa frauds actually exist?

I’ve been reading that Restaurants and retailers could sponsor people on minimum wage but that sounds too good to be true, right? Also i read that during the peak immigration period there were many visa frauds but how can that be possible when to get a SWV you need to meet minimum salaries and specific codes? Is it propaganda from the far right? Or does it have any truth?

Earned settlement will be announced 10th of September and will become legislation 22/10/26

This is my personal prediction not a confirmation*

I predict earned settlement will be announced on 10/09 and will be implemented retroactively on 22/10/26.
Ones it gets announced as official policy it needs from 21-40 days for structural overhauls meaning that the government has to announce a policy at least 21-40 days before to parliament so if there are enough MPs opposing it can trigger a vote.

The home secretary also confirmed to the Times that these changes will become legislation on autumn. 22/10 it’s a Thursday and historically changes for autumn often happen on the last Thursdays of October .

Anyone not getting ILR by 22/10 will be automatically be moved in new rules, even if someone has applied but hasn’t got a decision, these changes could also trigger some changes on citizenship although changes on citizenship are more complex and time consuming than legal immigration rules.

Again it’s all my prediction not a confirmation.

Earned settlement is unfair and it shouldn’t go ahead

I sacrificed so much to come in this country, first i sold land in my home country then i took a loan to pay for my masters in 2021. When i finished my Masters i straight away got into a sponsored work on January 2022 which meant i qualified for ILR on January 2027. My whole life was planned with me getting ILR on January 2027, because my daughter who is in yr12 will be going to university on September 2027 and i was really confident we would get ILR and she could get student loans.

If earned settlement goes ahead i will be made to wait 5 or 10 more years before i get my ILR and my daughter gets her’s. I also have twins to whom i can’t get child care because we migrants don’t qualify for child care allowance so my wife has to stay at home and we are loosing income.

Half of British people don’t work and they are crying now that we will also get benefits but it’s our right because we paid and pay tax while many people haven’t even got a job in their life.

Whose idea was to allow hospitality and retail workers to be sponsored?

From 2021-24 300K people were sponsored on retail and hospitality jobs and with them their dependents also came to the UK. In Britain people that work in retail and hospitality and have families, 50% of them are on some type of benefits so it’s logical that once these migrants get ILR they will claim because its foolish not to do so.

For an instance let’s all agree that care workers were important but why were retail and hospitality workers allowed to get SWV? Who used their bright mind and allowed every high street business to issue visas? Didn’t they knew that people are going to abuse it by selling visas or bringing their family and friends?

If Earned Settlement goes ahead these people could be made to leave Britain but it’s unlikely that Earned Settlement is getting approved and even if it does it won’t be retroactive or it won’t force people out of this country.

Thank to people who abused the system legit migrants won’t be able to make a life in Britain.

The UK had higher net immigration than the US in 2021

The UK had higher net immigration than US, a country that is 10X bigger than the UK and usually issues 10X work visas than the UK. That was possible because the tories allowed retail and hospitality shops to sponsor visas with salaries as low as 20-25K and with them their dependents were allowed to come which pumped total immigration numbers.

No wonder everyone in the country is against immigration and White paper immigration reform were introduced.

We all need to agree that many people abused the system during the Boris wave era to sale visas and bring their families over in the UK but they are not to be blamed because they were allowed to do that by the government. Another day another miracle of the BoJo establishment comes to light

Because of this legit skilled migrants are suffering and people who deserve to make a life in the Uk wont be able to do it.
