Something I have always wondered about...

If we draw a line on a page with a pencil...and within that hairline size is the timeline of humanity and in that same pencil line is an almost hard to see to the naked eye, is our individual timeline of.. 30,40,50,60,70,80,90 years on earth....and either side of that line is infinitely....yet we have so much knowledge/experience and years/decades in this almost a nano flash during our existence on this earth... It really makes you wonder...why....?
