Question for those who've had gallbladder surgery - is my pain normal?

I had my gallbladder removed due to gallstones on the 24 April.

Overall I seem to be healing okay but I've had this weird pain around my right ribcage/right breast area. Sometimes it flares up. Mostly it's a dull ache.

My external stitches have already healed.

I wondered if anyone else has experienced this? I plan to see a doctor next week. I assumed there would be some pain while healing so didn't think much of it. But a month feels a bit long to still be in some pain? The surgery team really didn't make it clear what to expect as to pain levels and healing time and I was not in a state to ask a lot of questions. The whole process up until surgery was rather rushed, looking back. I'm not complaining too much, the pain from gallstones severely restricted my life, but I wasn't told much.

I'm worried I may be dismissed by doctors if I bring this up, that they'll say it's just still healing. If this isn't normal, it may have more weight to say so, so I wondered if anyone else has experienced the same after surgery? And I'm a little concerned by it.

I have no serious symptoms. No pain anywhere else like stomach, back etc. No problems eating and no digestive issues and generally, I feel fine in myself. Of all the post surgery complications I've heard of, my symptoms don't seem to match.

Thank you for your replies - I appreciate it.
