Help with porcelain flower

This is the porcelain flower my mother inherited from my grandma.

Recently, the leaves started turning yellowish and I'm getting a bit worried about the plant.

The plant hasn't been repotted in years and I have no clue what soil it could be.

It stands on a window sill wich is getting lots of light now (south-facing)

Also she is like in a hydro-thing (Don't know how it's really called) so the roots are hanging in the water like you see in second pic. I read that these plants should be kept succulent-like but my mom says it has been so all the time and it flowers regularly. So is it okay to keep it that way?

I read it needs something to climb/hold on but I don't wanna shove a stick in the pot since I'm worried of hurting the roots. How should I best do it?

Any tips on this plant welcome :)

Getting started with silverclay

Hey guys, me and my partner thought about making sone jewellery of silverclay together but I've got some questions.

  1. Is it beginner friendly? I have some experience with crafts in general but very little with clay. I think my partner even less. Would you recommend trying this or should we do something different, if so, any ideas?

  2. I read firing with a blowtorch wasn't that good so I thought I could ask an art teacher of my school if they could fire it alongside the school clay stuff. Would that work or does regular clay need different conditions? Also, I would probably have to wait for a while until they fire some projects there, would that be a problem?

  3. How much do you need for two rings? I think we both prefer wider bands so we probably need a bit more. Because it is rather expensive, could you otherwise make two smaller pendants from 5g?

  4. Are there any cheaper alternatives? Like that looks and can be worked with similarly?

  5. Any other tips you wish you knew about beforehand?

Thanks for all answers
